copyleftgames.org - there is nothing there right now. keep in mind we've
only been at this for about 2 months now, there are many higher priorities
than a website.

Our initial goal is to provide a corporate entity and accounting for
projects. We are talking about growing it to provide education and
assistance with retail distribution, group discounts on server colocation,
etc etc, but I won't go into details on things we haven't firmed up yet.

Copyright assignment, if a project wants/needs it, but there is no
obligation so long as the project remains under a GPL compatible copyleft
license. Unlike GNU, if you do copyright assignment, it'd be a 2-way
agreement.

We are not equipped nor are looking to go in the direction of legal
coverage. If legal needs arise we should be able to peer up with the FSF,
SFLC, or other groups more equipped to handle the legal end of things.

Nope, but AFAIK, you don't for GNU either.

Unlike GNU, we don't put any technical limitations on your code - so long as
it remains copyleft. Your development structure should not change by
joining, you just gain a legal entity for your project so you can handle
group funds, donations, etc properly.

Wesnoth is your project, not ours - Copyleft Games Group would be an
umbrella you fit into as a "Member Project" but we don't own you. We're a
voluntary organization. If the org becomes corrupt or it just doesn't work
out, you could leave cleanly.
