-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi everybody! I just wanted to tell you that 1.6 is now in it's own branch: branches/1.6. Every dev should get a checkout of this so that patches to stable can be applied, too. Here are the basic rules for the branches:
branches/1.6: * feature freeze active (hey, this is the stable line, should get no new "features", just fixes...). * no string freeze but try to keep the amount of changes to the minimum that is required. * do not break compatibility to other versions from the 1.6.x line unless a really grave bug requires. This should *explicitly* be sent to this mailing list, too. * at least at the beginning this branch will get several "regular updates", the first one probably already in about two weeks... trunk: * free for all... * introduce what you want, though try to keep it "somehow working". ;) * string changes allowed and all this stuff. * breaking compatibility is no (bigger) problem. * the next release is far away (probably at least six weeks, might even be more...). I will now bump versions for trunk and 1.6 to reflect the current state... Since several of you might have noticed I uploaded a new package for 1.6 called 1.6a. This includes several commits from today and is basically a "hotfix release" to especially fix some issues in the AI introduces by using FormulaAI as default for recruiting. This might be activated again in later 1.6.x releases once it is "well tested". For the moment this is turned off because of too many problems.
