Hi everybody!
Please do not forget that we were accepted in Google Code-In (gci) [1]. The time
when (highschool) students can start working on things is about to start (on
Monday in fact). For this we can still use tasks and accomplishing mentors.
There can basically be *anything* included here. Basically anything can be done
as part of GCI. No matter if "real" coding, translating, proofreading, updating
documentation, (play)testing, whatever. Just keep in mind that those working on
things are not highly trained students or something like this, those are normal
people between 13 and 18 years old.

Now lets see what your task as mentor would be:
1) Find suitable tasks. This could eg be "get the (html) manual in sync with the
current game rules" or "translate the first three scenarios of UTBS into lang
ABC". A task should be doable in 2 to 8h.
2) Add this task in the google tracker (every task has to be added in it!).
3) Once a student claimed the task and completed it you have to review the work
(should be some rather short check only, eg "does this really make sense"). If
the work done does satisfy you the task is accomplished, if it is not "good
enough" yet, you leave some comment mentioning what has to be improved.

We can add new tasks during all of the project which lasts till January. But to
get someone help on translations we need a mentor for that language. Please
contact me if you are interested in mentoring. If you got questions, just reply
to the mail and ask them or join #wesnoth-dev on irc.freenode.net and ask there.

Cheers,
Nils Kneuper aka Ivanovic
