What is the exact status of this project?

Don't think the MP lobby makes a good GSoC problem, the real problems
are in the lower GUI2 engine, I've some ideas how to fix it and like to
work on it soon (in fact I already did several things in it, nothing
commit worthy yet).

Once the lower engine parts are fixed it might be a GSoC project to
polish the lobby further, but not sure how much work is needed. I need
to consult with the MP devs what else needs to be fixed.

I'll think about some projects as well.
