Hello Mr. Koellner,
I am very pleased to hear from someone from Delbrck. Your English is
very good, compared to my German. I do hope you understand my letter.
I shall try to sort out the information you sent me:
Our Heinrich Wibelor/Wibbelor was born 10 June 1819 son of George
Wibelor of Anreppen and _______ Bruggen of Westerloh. He
married{September 23, 1851}Anna Maria Catherine Rempe born 13 September
1823, daughter of Joann Bernard Rempe born (Sygemeyer) and Anna Maria
Huster( his second wife). This couple had to emigrate in 1851-52 as
their first child was born in USA in June of 1852. Perhaps they came
secretly or illegally? If this Heinrich Wibelor, Weibelor that Pat
Maring posts was born in Delbrck it could be the same man, note that
his mother was from Westerloh. I shall write to her as I have
communicated with her previously.
I do thank you for your reply.
Do you have any more information on the Bernard Rempe from Anreppen
and the Johann Bernard Rempe gen Koenig? They are quitel likely related
to this Rempe family that emigrated to Fort Madison Iowa, they are
possibly first cousins.
Frederich Wilhelm Rempe born 1815 marrried Angela Maria Posse (mother
was Niggemeier)
Anna Maria Theresia Rempe born 1822 ,married Stepphen Hermesmeier
Anna Catharina Maria Rempe born 1823, married Heinrich Wiebelor
Herman Wilhelm Rempe, born 1825 Married Elisabeth Niggemeier in 1852
then emigrated to USA
The father of these children, Joan Bernard Rempe natus Sygemeyer, had a
sister who married a Koenig, she was widowed and married a Rempe and
then she had a son Johann Bernard Rempe (gen Koenig)born about 1814.
We have many other relatives from the Delbrck, Westenholz, Nordhagen
area, the names are Brockmann, Stapel, Laumeier, Holtfoerster,
Hasselmyer.
Kind regards from
Ruby C Rempe in Kansas
