Members, Ours is the West Nile Foundation. Lets not go into the Politics of
marginalization, names, and so on. Remember one time Uganda cranes had only
names of Northerners at one time, was it not the National team? at a certain
point in time it had only names of people from the Central still it was the
National team. If we wanted the services of a neuro-surgeon in West Nile, shall
we pick one of our Vet Doctors just because he or she hails from West Nile and
is after all a Doctor. The issue of certain districts or names not featuring in
committees should not arise. Michael Anewa from Nebbi was a prominent member of
the Father Ruffino Educational Task Force. Hon. Jachan Omach from Nebbi is one
of the core persons our committee has to work with. So lets not delve into that
precarious ground which made our fore-fathers fail to have cohesion on regional
efforts.
