Dear Comrades, I heard and read with no surprise the assault of Municipal
Officials and the Woman MP by LC5 Boss, in any case this is not the first time.
During the road openings though with some irregularities which greatly
devastated some poor and voiceless, this so called RDC fit for Arua according
to the standards of the Appointing Authority did the same thing.
I presume everyone in the region including the unborn and other animals are
aware that we are terribly in Leadership crisis from grassroots to the National
level and worse still both the leadership and the entire West Nile population
seem to have lost their self-esteem and thus no one is ready to stand for the
rights of the people who themselves either don’t know their rights or are
adamant and helpless.
Any move to sensitize and inform our people is always seen as inciting them
against the government and the so called Presidential appointees and elected
leaders who are sons and daughters of the soil are seemingly not bothered about
sustainable development but rather from January to January mobilizing support
for their Appointer and some others running after money as if the financial
world is coming to an end. All the calamities that have befallen our region are
a result of poor leadership, and Passiveness, Expectancy and a seemingly
planned dependency inclination on the side of the masses.
It is incumbent upon us members of West-Nile-net to support and concretize the
West Nile Foundation in order to bailout the region from these rampant messes.
