Robert... I suggest NGONI.. well they are not from west Nile but they  have a
song in Lugbara called 'INZIKURU'... I guess their involvement would give this
nite a much deserved positive spin

Ma kayo Afema, I suggest this time let's go shaking our bones to the tunes of
those Old classic lingalas just in case there are no curtains, curtain raisers
and local artists available. I can volunteer the Oldies...

Hi Robert,

Who will supply the curtains?!!.  Paul ikoga ama aza in this.

Robert, you could use your generally good links to get through other performers
even if not from westnile just to give this night more publicity as it seems to
be on most lips everytime it draws near. I was in Arua recently and my
villagemates wanted to attend had it not been for the requirement of shoes and
having to speak English at the gate.

What a shame.

Well done though for keeping it there.

Ejiku,

I mean a singer/local talent of choice among our very own. Yes I’m around and
making preps for Friday because the team behind this would want to engage
members as much as possible. You and Aza can be curtain raisers!!!!

Afema

You mean we have quickly run out of our talented westnilers??? If yes, then I
will perform with AZ on the night. Ha-ha-ha-ha haaaaaa!! someone lend me a
voice, to be paid with full interest.

Robert, hope you are back from wherever you had disappeared.

Hi All,

Thank you all for the big turn up for the launch of Westnile night earlier in
the month. It was overwelming and some Westniler told me that; he has been in
touch with several members on Phone and mail not until that night when  he
managed to physically see the “CHAIRMAN” Eza….what?  after 7 years and this to
me meant a lot.

I was impressed to see friends travel all the way from Moyo to join us here in
Kampala  and that truly was a spirit of unity.

Now; this Friday 26th March 2010 we are on again. This time we shall have the
traditional dance from Nebbi district commonly reffered to as “Ndara” and this
is serious you can ask Fred Onyai, Patrick Oyulu or our randy Sagara and
perhalps we shall ask Patrick Idringi to do what he does best to give us a hint
on what happens in Koboko. And Next month we shall feature talent from Moyo
Adjumani areas to complete the circle.

Look forward to seing you all and remember password for entrance is AFEMA and
this entitles you to free entrance before midnight.

Lastly we promise this time DJ Ronny of Matonge will fully take charge to play
the Music we all embrace.

Regards,
Robert Afema

Goodmorning All,

We have been approached my the management of Club Palui a night club situated
in the lower section of Ntinda shopping Mall following support some members
have rendered this club over the years with an offer of a night dedicated to
Westnilers.

This will mean that, the music that will be played will purely be from the
region and preferably Lingala which many from west nile identify with so much.

Among other things, this theme night proposed to take place every last Friday
of the month will give an opportunity to promote prominent and upcoming artists
from west nile by featuring each time we have this night.

Secondly, I believe it will also be an avenue for members who are around
Kampala to sociate, interact and probably agree on some of the topical issues
being discussed on mail.

Thirdly, members will agree with me that, this will give us identity and
promote unity among other things.

Lastly, we could find ways of doing merchandising for this to generate revenue
for WNF.

The management of Palui will be giving us 100 complementary tickets every theme
night and this number can grow over time  so long as the turn up is good. There
was a proposal to officially launch this night next Friday 5th March and if
members are in agreement we hope to bring in JM Keneddy and DJ Guido to help
kick start the process.

For more info you may contact Rogers Opigo  0772450207 and Afema Robert
(0772120305).

Regards,
Afema
