Dear fellow West Nilers,

Last time posted an update on the attempts URLCODA volunteers to
promote rurl literacy in the region. The up date gave a description
of the visit of Prof. Kate Parry to West Nile and her tour of several
Community Libraries and the launch of the mother community library in
Lokotoro village.

She has now given an account of her visit in a blog which you can
access through this link: www.favl.org On your right under NEWS &
BLOG, click on FAVL's Blog and you will be able to read stories on
Mpolyabigere and URLCODA, the two community libraries which recently
benefited from Hawk Children's Fund to instal solar power in the
libraries.

Ladies and gentlemen on the net, I strongly believe our criticisms and
thoughts of Arua district's failure to absorb funds should be in the
context of how such unused funds could have been directed towards such
wonderful edcational infrastructural initiatives to complement the
efforts district's education department.

Thanks

Willy
