*Challenging Multinational Companies* ** Thanks to the attorneys/lawyers on this forum.
When many of these companies relocate to do business in Africa, they find that either some laws are not enforced or don't exist. Therefore, they try to exploit the ignorance of the citizens who appear to be at their mercy for jobs or services. As educated sons/daughters of those people who are exploited, we should be vigilant about protecting our rights and environment. Beginning to sue some of these companies for damages is the new learning process to let them know we are as civilized as them, therefore, they should not take our misery, poverty, ignorance, etc for granted. We are living in a global village where knowledge flows endlessly. We should learn from the experience of people who have successfully sued some of these companies.
