Dear all,
I would like to commend our district leaders for finally realising the
need to protect our environment.

Much as tobacco growing is still an income source for most households,
the degradatory impacts is not seriously taken into consideration. Am
always puzzled whenever i pass Maracha n only look at eucalyptus as
the main trees. This leaves alot to imagine.

These companies come to make business in our area, but they donot mind
how we gona live in the coming years. I do not want to start listing d
benefits of trees here coz in Africa we r born knowing them.

Our forest officers in the districts shd really put much emphasis on
controlling degradation and protecting d environment instead of using
it as avenues to make money.

Now i can see vigilance in the people, we surely shd kick those
companies that donot care abt protecting the envt out of West Nile. Am
really grateful to Peter Abeson Mokili n Charles Odipio for this
examplary leadership.

Kind regards
