Dear Lina, I am afraid politicians dont make things happen, laws dont move things! You and my actions do! if you want to influence decisions and actions in your region or the nation, follow the development planning and budget formulation process and implementation. Attend budget conference and make your contribution. Read quarterly performance/implementation reports prepared by the districts and also final reports to council. These are public documents. When you identify any issues, you may go direct to the implementors or through some pressure group.
Relying on politicians is a waste of energy!
