Hello Robert, Jackson et al,

The foundation is slowly but surely galvanizing its potential and let me
congratulate the members who have weathered the storm in times when things
degenerated to levels i would rather not describe.

Smart organizations today excel on the basis of strategic alliances and
partnerships with other organizations with congruent ideals. The idea of the
Dinner is one that i would like to buy into. Previous remarks have alluded
to our high levels of verbose without tangible action. What we may have
failed to appreciate is the fact that every new organization, WNF inclusive,
cannot avoid the teething problems.I have always mused with the idea of WNF
partnering with established, West Nile region-wide organizations who are
aiming to achieve the very ideals we strive to achieve. CEFORD (Community
Empowerment for Rural Development) has no doubt proved to be a formidable
local NGO having made 10 years this year.

One of the areas of focus is education, specifically Functional Adult
Literay (FAL). I believe that teaming up with CEFORD (or any other such NGO
for that matter) as an implementing partner in the initial stages (given
their regional presence and well established structures) for some of our
projects on ground is a project that we could explore. With our legal status
now clear, such engagements with sister organizations will surely help in
our efforts. For starters, the upcoming CEFORD dinner at Hotel Africana on
December 11, 2010 is a venture worth considering.
