It is sad to hear that we have been robbed of our dear relatives again
in two bus accidents. May the souls of the deceased rest in a eternal peace
and may those in hospitals know that the Lord Amighty is always with them. I
hope the full true story of the accident will be provided when it becomes
available. I have observed that possible errors of the bus drivers have only
been mentioned in some of the comments. What about the story of other
drivers involved (e.g. tanker for the KK bus accident). I hope very
competent Traffic Police and Ministry of Transport investigators seriously
investigate these accidents to provide reasonable solutions to avoid or
reduce such accidents. Accidents on the Ugandan Roadways just seem to be too
much too frequent in my view. I am left to wondedr what kind of smoke in an
open environment like Porungo area where the KK Bus accident occurred would
reduce visibility to the extend that both drivers for the two moving
vehicles were not being able to recognize one another !!!
