Dear Robert,

Yes that is true he has been contacted and hopefully will be participating in
the dinner, we shall be very pleased to have you also promote this initiative
in your own way even as yourself.

I am however sure aware that you have already been supportive.

Kind regards

Richard

Mr Okuti,

I was reliably informed that, there were plans to contact my chairman Mr
Charles Mbire to be guest of honor and if that happened, I'm sure there must
have been a commitment from him on behalf of MTN.

Regards,

Robert

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Relatives, Friends, Leaders and all Listers,

Protocol observed J

The exciting month is here, once again a time to reunite with our families at
home (at the new exciting and first ever family day event – big cheers to the
committee – I know it will happen), in the village and from all around the
world not only in person but also in spirit. Today I have decided to take a
different turn in announcing the upcoming events but mostly because this is the
month of many events and we must remind you to participate in as many as you
can.

Today I would like to announce two events, that are open to all community
members;

The Science cafe

This is a free for all knowledge sharing event that will take place at Josey’s
place in Nalya on Sunday, December 05, 2010 at 4:00pm. The topic this time is
back to health and focusing more on Maternal/Child Mortality in child delivery,
the discussion will also touch issues of how to avoid mother to child
transmission in HIV/AIDS positive mothers.

We are still having challenges broadcasting these discussions on the Radio
stations in West Nile (Diana – I think your ideas are spot on!). We are however
hoping to get hold of “Nyax…#157; Who did well in the promotion of the tree
planting project initiated in Arua. We hope it will grow to promote a greener
west nile.

We are indeed working round the clock to see how best we shall convince the
radio’s there to work with us.

The CEFORD Dinner

Community Empowerment for Rural Development (CEFORD), is making 10 years of
existence in West Nile December 11, 2010 by hosting community members and
stakeholders to a dinner at Hotel Africana.

The theme of this dinner “Adult Literacy is a strategy to total community
development. It is more than just reading and writing, it is an opportunity to
root education into the core activities of the community so as to be able to
implement other development efforts planned…#157;

The dinner is paid and you may register to attend (or pay and take your card)
with the following people or places;

Allan Bayo - 0772670446

Patrick Ezaga – 0772511472

Sam Ejibua - 0772515648

Carolyn Vunia – 0779129222

Josey’s Place – Nalya (Care of Joseph Dramadri -0772342326)

The Manager - Choma Restaurant

Aisha – Choma Restaurant

kindly note that if you do not find the card just register and we shall deliver
the card to you the lowest value card is at 50,000/= Uganda shillings and there
are many more higher value cards for those who would like to pay more to the
cause of adult literacy, please contact me on 0772725252.

(Mr. Afema if there is a plan you can see I have written their MTN numbers
only???). Anyway if there are companies interested in supporting the cause feel
free to contact me on the number above

This means the money will be used to facilitate the programme.

Kind regards

Richard
