We at EACOSS have undergone a revolution and are taking a new direction in making Free, Libre and Open Source Software (FLOSS) more useful to our communities by tackling more than the usual technical trainings. E-Business (Website Development & Online Business and Promotion) 4. 4. Specialized courses for (Accountants, human resource people, customer relations people among others) Under a programme called The Apprentice that is being developed in association with Asili Richlands and the Kampala ICT Cluster we shall also train entrepreneurs in new technology business, Sales & Marketing professionals and project managers. A special recent graduate's programme in practical application of business skills is part of the trainings in this part. EACOSS now seeks to engage and recruit potential partners in the following areas; 1. 1. High level FLOSS trainers (5 places) 2. 2. Marketing Assistant (1 place) 3. 3. Sales Agents (4 places) 4. 4. Lastly EACOSS has noted some fake certificates purportedly issued by EACOSS in the market, we would like to advise employers and all members of the ICT fraternity that they should kindly check with us before accepting some of these certificates. Our authentic certificates have the following features and marks 1. 1. Flags of the 5 East African Countries & Zambia 2. 2. A certificate number that tallies with our records 3. 3. An official stamp with the date of issue which tallies with our records 4. 4. A company seal that is not easily viewed unless magnified 5. 5. A company logo We shall also be carrying out trainings in Comboni College Gulu, Kiterredde In Masaka and Makerere University - Research Centre in Arua by the end of the first quarter. We are in the process of revamping our online presence as well as setting up e-learning system.
