Gaaga was once the epitome of excellence and set the standards for public transportation to/from West Nile. I think it is a case of declining/poor management standards that is quickly eroding the quality of services it used to offer. Loss of life due to carelessness is totally unacceptable and this being fourth report I know of involving buses belonging to this company-the licensing board will have to look critically at the the documents and internal procedures of all transport companies to satisfy itself with safty standards that these companies have committed themsleves to. I am not sure whether the transport licensing board looks at the documented safety standards and aspects these companies present if there's any such thing as a condition for licensing. Can anyone check with the state minister for transport and confirm otherwise I am inclined to believe that there might be more that meets the eye as a cause of these endless accidents and deaths on the roads due to careless driving ! Thanks Ricard. I think it will be good opportunity for some of us who are struggling to depend on salary yet you could have other options besides to earn a better life. Many of us start bussinesses which collapse even before it takes off. In the last discussion we show how Dr. Bhokka unleashed data on us yet many had been socializing with him without realizing that he held such important information and he had never given such information to his social groups but rather in the highly technical meetings which normally are attended by the "already converted" and many of us do not have the opportunity to attend. The same could happen with Denis. Without money, good health cannot be attained. We can remember the woman who died with a baby in Mityana for not afording 50,000= for buying essential commodities for delivery! So such topics complement natural science. The Science cafe will take place on Sunday January 23, 2011 at Jose's place in Nalya starting 4:00pm sharp. This weekend we have decided to talk about Investment, Entrepreneurship and capital development. Our own Mr. Dennis A. Aliga will show us how small money can multiply into sizable investments and grow exponentially into a new level of wealth! Talking about investment, he will draw from his experience in Dubai, now a leading tourist and business destination around the world, from West Africa, Kenya & Tanzania - come meet one of the most progressive people from the soil. We shall be focusing our discussions on "Transformational Income" a word I learned from him. We shall discuss discus entrepreneurship, small business as well as collective investment schemes for various scenarios. You are all welcome to attend this Science Cafe - an opportunity to direct your thinking about the available options for wealth generation. On another note to members, Science cafe is now a registered company limited by guarantee and our learnt brother Gayo William took lead in following all the legal procedures. Brova to him and thanks to all those who took part in ensuring this happened.
