Indeed well said Father! He has really done wonderful work as we all passed
through his hands becoming well known and being the best among equals, despite
having gone through 'jiko'. We shall always remember him for all that wonderful
in the name of our beloved St. JOCO. Our challange is what shall we do in order
to leave a legacy like him????????? RIP Hercules......!!!!!!!

Subject: [WestNileNet] Mr Abiriga Hercules, RIP
If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade,
plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.
- Chinese Proverb
Dear OBs of Ombaci, fellow westnilers and men and women of good will!
This is a time to thank God for the gift of life to Mr Abiriga Hercules. I was
in Ombaci from the time Mr Abiriga was a classteacher, then Deputy Headmaster
and after the death of Fr Mich in an accident a Headteacher. He fulfilled his
role as an educator through and through.
This chinese proverb says it all esp when in the Reunion days Mr Abiriga was
able to interact with us and see the fruits of the seeds the Lord enabled him
to throw in St Joseph's college Ombaci.
Last Saturday in Moyo parish we had the Priestly Ordination of Fr Alfred
Mawadri, an OB of Ombaci, making the number of OBs who have reached the altar
of the Lord over 10, with Fr Philip Zema, present Parish Priest of Ombaci being
the "ancestor" [first OB to become a priest.
On behalf of the OBs we shall offer the celebration of the Eucharist for the
repose of his soul and the increasee in faith and hope in all OBs, friends and
benefactors of St Joseph's College-Ombaci.
Lets emulate the good example of Mr Abiriga!
Rev Fr Ruffino EZAMA, mccj
