Subject: [WestNileNet] Music, community and health
Dear all, research has proved that people who have community connectedness have
less chance of getting stress-related diseases and that music is therapeutic.
Thinking along this line, Science Cafe Uganda in partnership with Amazon Pub in
Entebbe is inviting you for an African Nite @ Amazon Pub Entebbe(former Kaikai,
the most famous Lugbara joint that ever existed in Entebbe) to listen to
African Music from A (Ayidjo) to Z (Zikondo) on 20th July starting 8pm.
Entrance free and beers will be 3000= only for this Nite.
This has been special request from the West Nile elders who want to remember
the times they enjoyed, come and share with them. Mr Amori John, the chairman
of West Nile community Entebbe has already mobilized the elders. The community
in Entebbe is warmed up to that day. Come and connect to the community to
release stress.
DJ Blouse and Uncle Nyax will be in the house doing what they do best.
Miss if you must
Christine
