Dear colleagues,
My sympathis to those who have lost beloved ones in this accident. It's
unfortunate that 9 people ended victims on top of the dead body they were
accompanying for burrial. Every time there is an accident on this route,
the number of deaths is often high. I am not sure what is the best method
for reducing/curbing the rate of these accidents.

As a reminder, when you look back and reflect on the rate of road accidents
on the Arua-Gulu-Kampla road each year, we need concerted effort to
sensitize commuters on public safety especially:

   - Over speeding, which often leads to majority of accidents
   - Drinking and driving, another leading cause of accidents
   - Pot holes and rough roads
   - Talking on Cell phones or Texting while driving a vehicle.
   - etc

My humble suggestion/recommendation is that there is urgent need for
PUBLIC SAFETY EDUCATION, which drivers must take even if they have License.
I am not sure how this can be enforced.
