Dear members, as we discussed in a meeting yesterday, our link major Bayo
went to meet the chief of staff today to request for requiem mass for our
brother. The permission was granted on one serious condition. Major called
me to answer and promise on behalf of our community. The permission has
been granted to have one hour mass at St. Johns church opposite Entebbe
state house tomorrow Monday before the casket is flown to Arua. The
condition was that there MUST BE NO VIEWING of the casket. I took the
liberty to promise because the chief of staff wanted to hear from one of us
to be very sure before he grants the permission.

He didnt indicate time but what we were told is that the body will be flown
at around midday, we need to prepare and fit in this army program. We now
need to be ready from 9am and wait for this program. my caveat is that army
programs change any time and we should be ready for any change to happen.

I took the liberty to inform members here because I have committed myself
to promise on your behalf. The community wanted this mass and we have been
pushing for it seince yesterday

Thanks
Christine
