Dear members of West Nile fraternity, this is to inform you of the formation of Entebbe KACULCA Football Club. As you may be aware, KALUCA stands for Kampala Lugbara Catholic Association. So KALUCA was formed under the umbrella of Catholic Church to keep together catholic Christians coming from West Nile Region. There is a Youth Department under KALUCA Entebbe Community. It was under this department that the idea of forming a football club was generated. Entebbe Kaluca Football Club has duly been registered with Wakiso District Football Association, a member of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), for second division tournaments this season going on. To date, the club has played 2 matches in the tournament and has won all of them, with a total of now 6 points. Tomorrow, Friday, it is expected to play another match at Kiwafu grounds, near Kitooro, Entebbe Municipality. The dream behind the formation and registration of this club is to help better mobilize, organize and tap the abundant energies and talents in our youth. The youth here had earlier on proven their capabilities in the previous KALUCA tournaments and games played where they had ever become victorious; and even won “Toko” Cup recently. The registration status will also help expand their scope to participate not only in KALUCA, but District and National Tournaments and Games, and to expose them to bigger clubs nationally and internationally. This way, we hope to explore every opportunity for a young talented footballer to use his or her talent to earn a better living. To keep it active and vibrant from the beginning, the club requires external support and resources to facilitate its activities. You have been identified as a key stakeholder in this realm. So, you are kindly requested to contribute generously to this noble cause. For any comments and contributions, you may contact the following club officials: Peter Munduga Agobirua (Club Treasurer), 0752 626093; Stephen Abima (Club Secretary), 0701 908012; Rev. Fr.
