And then the obvious question comes; When is the time to ACT?

It is MARCH, the beginning of the year and 1st term for many levels. CAn we
work towards having a stitch in time to save a "few"?

Dear brethren,
Those of you who have been on this forum for a while will remember some
commends I  made two years ago.
a) We need a holistic approaching to improving the quality of education in WN
region

        * we need to engage all school administrators/HMs
        * Teachers
        * Parents
        * Students
        * Teacher Training Schools
        * Government officials running the districts
        * MPS from the region
b) Two years a go, I had recommended formation of Task Force on Education,
which was led by Fr. Ruffino Ezama and Harold Acema. After Fr. Ruffino left to
work in USA, there  There were no more volunteers, NO leadership to continue
the Task Force.

c) Our biggest trouble in this entire region, we see fire and flames, we still
want the government to come and fix the problem for us.  The simplest solution
is to take the bucket and go to the river while you cry for help. We are always
quick in blaming every problem on the government. We need to mobilize ourselves
as a community to address  some of these challenges.

d) I strongly recommend that we have to empower ourselves to Take Initiative,
Make Good Decisions,  Provide Leadership and Volunteer Little Time to help.
Some of the problems in the schools in this region can be solved by organized
community action on problem solving.

e) If we do nothing, the situation will only get worse. We have seen this in
Primary Education, Secondary Schools and the problem will impact our
ability/population in Tertiary Institutions. In the next 20-50 years, our
influence/Impact to function in the government will be significantly reduced to
nothing.

f) The current trends in performance in schools, no matter what level;
