Dear Felix,

Thank you for response below in which you advise me and others not to
lose heart and become negative. I just want to assure you that neither
myself nor others whom you have observed will ever lose heart and
become negative on the issue of the development (or lack thereof) in
WN. Whereas I am deeply concerned, I will never lose heart and become
negative about it otherwise, my brother, if I had to be negative I
(and certainly many of our colleagues) on this net who grew in poverty
and lived through the wars since 1979 would not be where we are now.

Yes, just like Jesus was angry, sometimes one gets angry -- you know
that we are capable -- advancing our society, our communities, just
like an other peoples in any part of the world -- but-- we, especially
the enlightened and successful ones choose to rest on our laurels and
hope against hope that someone else from another planet come and do
things for us. Everyone who comes from somewhere to lend us a hand is
looking for something -- recognition, gratification, satisfaction in
one form or another etc.. they are not coming for nothing...

Sometimes, what may seem to be "negative" is intentional so as to
provoke debate (not always successful) but...that is how I personally
tend to operate..

So please rest assured, I have no intention of being negative for I am
well aware that the war to liberate illiteracy and poverty will be
long and and fraught with disappointments along the way....

Regards,

Charles
