Dear all,

I tried to post some mail to the net two days ago and twice got the message
that "delivery to the following recipient failed permanently" i.e to
[email protected]. with the following explanation in angle brackets:

>>Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for
the recipient domain kym.net by kym.net. [41.222.0.195].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.1.1 Mailbox <[email protected]> does not exist<<

My heart missed a few beats.

I'm trying again with a copy and paste of my message - hoping this was
something temporary.

................
Dear Members,

I would like to thank brother Adiga (belatedly though) for his contribution
of $500 for opening an account for starting up things. I will consider that
his last sentence saying those unable to contribute money should stop
writing in here was an expression of frustration. Understandable.

I admit I have been "absent" for a couple of weeks from the WNN (or is it
WNF?). In trying to catch up with the discussions I'm wondering if I missed
the response of the leadership of the WNN to the many calls to update
members on the the way forward e.g establishing the secretariat or
coordinating body. If I did, my apologies for taking you backwards.
Otherwise, I'm just trying to find my bearing. In one of Mr. Caleb's
messages to this net on March 14, 2013, he said the executive would meet on
"Saturday 16/3/2013 at Kati Kati". Could you help update those who might
have missed your feedback on the discussions of the executive? Much
appreciated in advance.

I am particularly interested in your discussions on establishing a
Secretariat: estimated costs, suggested location, plans for starting, etc.
Of course updates on other important issues you discussed are also
appreciated.

A couple of days ago Mr. Patrick Ezaga noted that if one calls a (general)
meeting hardly 20 persons attend. I'm not sure if we have considered going
ahead with whoever is around and getting things into the hands of the
"Civil Servants of the WNF" to borrow someone's apt analogy.

I know a meeting of the WNF, scheduled on 30 July 2011 in the Rugby grounds
flopped because of poor attendance. (I was one of those who missed it due
to ill-health - even though I had planned to be there). But I know there
are people in this net who also sent apologies in advance. And there were
also some diaspora members who were disappointed and frustrated because the
online broadcast did not work that day, if I am not mistaken.

I think this issue of the Secretariat is rather urgent. In fact, one of the
items on the Agenda for that 30/July/2011 meeting was the Secretariat.

I therefore suggest that the leadership calls another general meeting
again. Do not give up yet. This time let's count those who will have sent
apologies. And let's try the online broadcast again. If it happens before
September this year, I offer to work with those who are interested in
providing some web-conferencing option for those in the diaspora to be part
of the meeting.

Any response from the executive and the members of parliament of this WNF?

Regards,

Bona
