I don't have to tell anyone how advanced it was for an African country to have a cancer radiotherapy machine in 1974. I also might not need to tell anyone how the only radiotherapy machine in Uganda, the one that broke down recently with 40,000 patients on it's treatment waiting list, was a national investment by Idi Amin for the people of Uganda.
