Had I wanted to "sweep all the issues under the carpet", I would not have started this group. And as I had mentioned earlier and I am going to stress it again - I would strongly oppose any statement which gives a negative vibe to people and does not serve any constructive purpose. > I am saying that all events for newbies should have clear links to > FOSS resources including FOSS philosophy. > > If you won't even give a clue then how on earth will your newbie divine > things? > > I am not opposed to sharing FOSS philosophy. Again, why on earth, then I would start a group to get more women into FOSS and give my time and effort after it if I do not want to share FOSS philosophy, But the ways in which I believe or like are different from yours.
