Mirroring and delete

Can wget be made to perform like a real mirror.  Complete with a
delete option that removes local files that aren't on the source?

Tracking the hits on `delete' with `s' search.  None are about that.

The delete after retrieval doesn't sound like what I'm after.  Is
there really a situation where you want to delete everthing you
download?
