I guess some very simple parsing can be done without the need to use a
full VRML parser (an C++ version with some additional nodes that a
colleague of mine created is about 24MB of source code), but I do not
think it's likely that wget will be able to parse through VRML in near
future.
Of course, patches adding desired functionality are always welcome.
