Mirroring a site.

Hi,
        I am trying to mirror an Archive of a news paper to be use in
linguistic analysis.
wget -r -l 0--mirror -A.html -X http://www.ahram.org.eg/

It does not access places like
http://www.ahram.org.eg/arab/ahram/2000/2/19/FRON1.HTM
http://www.ahram.org.eg/arab/ahram/1999/2/19/FRON1.HTM

If you hit http://www.ahram.org.eg/arab/ahram/2001/2/19/FRON1.HTM
you get some thing but any upper level unitil the www thing, you get
nothing.
I strongly appreciate any help,
