Dear wget developers,
I'm trying to use wget to verify my hrefs, but I'm having some
problems with FTP URLs.
First, if the argument is a nonexisting FTP directory, wget returns
status 0 (see log1). Secondly, if the directory exists, an
index.html file is written, even with `--spider' and
`--delete-after' (log2).
I don't use any .wgetrc.
Please note that I'm not subscribed to this list, so please CC any
