Hello,

I tried to use WGET for OS/2 (tested V 1.5.3 and 1.6) with a proxy
server. Without proxy server all works fine. But with...

In a OS/2 commandline session I type the following commands:

SET HTTP_PROXY=62.52.17.1:80
wget -c --proxy=on http://home.arcor-online.de/bohn/unlock.zip
--13:01:49--  http://home.arcor-online.de/bohn/unlock.zip
           => `unlock.zip'
Connecting to home.arcor-online.de:80...

Then comes nothing, I only can stop it with Ctrl-C.

In the same network on a computer with Windows NT (with WGET 1.5.3.1) it
looks so:

SET HTTP_PROXY=62.52.17.1:80
wget -c http://home.arcor-online.de/bohn/unlock.zip
--13:07:29--  http://home.arcor-online.de:80/bohn/unlock.zip
           => `unlock.zip'
Connecting to 62.52.17.1:80... connected!
Proxy request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 18,736 [application/zip]
....

It seems that the OS/2 version ignores the proxy server, it not tries to
connect to the proxy server.

Can you help me ?
