If I recall correctly, the DOS version of wget 1.5.2 handled this by
translating the "?" into "@". I did feed back (can't recall exactly when
now) that wget 1.6 for DOS wasn't doing this. I haven't used 1.7 so I
don't know whether the translation has been reinstated.
