Dear Ivan,
this is an error in 1.7 makefiles. It's repaired in CVS - look at
http://sunsite.dk/wget/wgetdev.html for more information about WGET
CVS.
The release that repaires this and some other build problems (mainly
related to SSL library detection) will be 1.7.1 .
