proxy problem

hi,

i have this config in wgetrc:

http_proxy = http://proxy.of.my.isp:3128/
use_proxy = on

I start wget (1.7) with this command:

wget -np -nd -c -b ftp://some.address:2121/pub/mrs.mp3

but instead of using proxy for retriving that file, it makes it directly... any
ideas?
thanks in advance.

p.s. I tried to start with --proxy=on but that doesn't help either.
