Hi I am not on the wget list anymore, so please could somebody reply to me personally. I have found a few people asking the same question in the list archives, but not found an answer
I want to set a timeout of 5 seconds on a wget http fetch. I have tried -T --timeout etc in the command line and in a .wgetrc file. wget does not seem to obey these directives. How can I set the timeout? Thanks Warwick Poole
