That means scope_id has two meanings - link_local : on wich interface an packet go that can not determined by routing decission - site_local : are also stored in multicast IPv6 Not supporting scope_id by wget means: a) not suporting unrouteable IPv6 adresses b) not supporting multicast Bevore IPv6, wget also not suport unroutable IPv6 adress I also think that wget do not wan't to support multicast since it is not used for FTP/HTTP. This is the ground i think that it do not make sense to support scope_id. If there are good examples where scope id is needed ( ftp or http ) i can think about implementing it. Since ftp do not support symolic IP's on acitve or passive communication there should be only link_local IPv6 examples running passive mode !!! Cu Thomas
