wget and PEM pass phrase

Title: wget and PEM pass phrase

Aloha.  Is there a way to embed the PEM pass phrase in a script using wget.  We have users who need to use wget to retrieve files using HTTPS and PKI via crons.  I do not see how it will work if they need to enter the PEM pass phrase at the command line.  We are running wget 1.8.2.
