Hi,

In v1.9.1 of wget, it is not possible to retrieve files from an ftp server that requires a username and password.

A sniff of the network shows that wget picks the username correctly from the URL, but any password embedded in the URL is ignored, and instead relaced with the password "-wget@", which seems to be the anonymous ftp behavior.

The man page includes no information on how to set an ftp password (only http passwords can be specified), and no information is included on how to change the default anonymous password to something other than "-wget@".

This renders wget useless for the mirroring of ftp sites protected using a username and password.

Regards,
Graham
