I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to report this problem, I I've run out of options, so here goes.
I'm attempting to use wget's --timeout flag to limit the time spent downloading a file. However, wget seems to ignore this setting. For example, if I set --timeout=2, the download should take at most 6 seconds, because the dns, connect, and read timeouts are all 2 seconds. However, it does not seem to obey any such limit. Please help Colin
