I'm trying to download the suse92-dvd.iso from mirrors.kernel.org that is
over 4G long. I am encountering signs of a problem -- I've interrupted
and continued a few times with different options but am still getting
a bogus size:
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for SUSE-9.3-Eval-DVD.iso
(4488353792 by
tes).
Length: 193,386,496
......
In round numbers that looks to be about 4G on the low side...
My latest line of output looks like:
1062912K ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........564%
100.00 KB/s
So what's going to happen on the download? Is it going to just crash
when the file offset exceeds 2G or 4G?
Is this fixable or is this a Gnu-library bug that has to be fixed first?
thanks,
Linda
