I've been trying to download a Web Crossing
(http://www.webcrossing.com/) site before I shut it down.

I've tried options such as

wget -E -H -k -K -p -r -l3 URL

   OR

wget -r -l3 -k -E -K -p -e robots=off -w10 -o logfile.txt URL

and other varieties, but I always have one of two problems: either I get
the URL I'm seeking with all the links (esp. graphics and attached
files) pointing back to the Web Crossing site, or I get a process that
runs for hours, downloads, say, 30+ MB, and never seems to stop.

I think the problem may come from those graphics and attached files
being of the form

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/[EMAIL PROTECTED]@.eexxxxf/37!enclosure=.ee845a6

where all the x are replaced by digits, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone ever done this successfully?

If you've not seen Web Crossing,
http://www.webcrossing.com/Home/products/hotnews/topsites/ is a list of
a few user sites, and http://www.webcrossing.com/Home/products/demosites
is a list of some demo sites.

Thanks,

Bill
