"Porting "wget " functionality to the u-boot"

Hi All,

 I am new to wget porting to different kinds of boot loaders.

 We are planning to compile wget along with u-boot for one of my embedded system running with IBMPPC405 processor.
 We do have wget working once the linux kernel takes controll from the u-boot.
But we need to implement same feature into u-boot as well.
Can any one thorugh a light on how to start porting wget on u-boot (since u-boot is not an O.S).

Any help appreciated ..
