You're right. And the most likely fix will be to add an error message telling you that "-O" and "-r" (and several other options) are incompatible. You might review some of the other recent "-O" complaints at "http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/", and/or consider that, because Wget does recursion by looking for links in the files it downloads, you'd be asking the program to be reading and writing to the same file at the same time, which, while not necessarily impossible, would require a significantly different method of operation.
