-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256

PLEASE NOTE: as of this moment, the repository at svn.dotsrc.org will no
longer be used for active development. Instead,
svn://addictivecode.org/wget/ will be used.

You can switch over your existing repositories using the command:
  "svn switch --relocate http://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/repo/wget/
svn://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/wget/"

(Note that my mailer has wrapped the above command.)

You may want to follow that with an "svnpath" to verify success, and
"svn up" to update, as Mauro just checked a fix in (which is also
present at dotsrc.org). No further changes made at dotsrc.org will be
present in the new location.

Note that, at this time, no one has write access to the new repository
yet. If you had access before, and need it now (or didn't, and would
like it), contact me with the username and preferred password (keeping
in mind that it will be sent cleartext over the wire, so don't reuse an
important one). If you don't specify a password, I will assign one.

- -= New Development Policy =-

Along with the new repository comes a new policy: no developer will have
write access to any of the trunk/, tags/ or branches/ directories;
instead, each developer will have his own sandbox in /users/<username>.
The directories /users/<username>/{tags,branches} will also be created
for each developer. Developers can then branch from the trunk into their
sandbox, work on changes there, and ping me when they feel that it is
complete enough to consider for merging. More details will be given to
developers at the time their accounts are created.

The reasoning behind this is twofold: (1) developers will have the
freedom to check in changes much more frequently, which is a very good
thing; (2) since I can restrict write access for developers to only
their own sandbox, I can feel free to hand out such access with far more
freedom. Want to work on your pet feature or bug? Ask for an account! :)
(Note: no guarantees though, that I'll merge your fix, so you'd better
get it discussed first!)

- -= Reasons Behind the Move =-

I've had difficulty getting the attention of the guys at sunsite.dk, and
have been without SVN access. I also was becoming increasingly sure that
I was going to want more direct access to the repository than sunsite.dk
had been providing, so that I could set up more fine-grained access
levels as above (and hand out accounts without waiting for sunsite.dk to
have time to do so); and so I could set up an automatic notification
system (for which I'll probably want to set up a separate mailing list;
or perhaps wget-patches can be repurposed for this).

- -= Web Access =-

To browse the sources on the web, you can visit
