-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 What's up with the -Y option?
It doesn't appear in the manual (except in an example invocation, in the section on how to report bugs); but it does show up in --help: -Y, --proxy explicitly turn on proxy. --no-proxy explicitly turn off proxy. The problem with that message is that it doesn't indicate the fact that - -Y requires a boolean argument. - -Y shows up in the option_data array as: { "proxy__compat", 'Y', OPT_VALUE, "useproxy", -1 }, /* back-compatible */ which to me indicates that it is not intended to be used any longer. If this is the case, shouldn't it also be removed from the output of - --help as well? Otherwise, what would be the best way to indicate that it requires an argument? I'm asking this question now, because with the --content-disposition doc fixes I need to resubmit to the Translation Project anyway, so if we're going to change the doc strings for -Y, now's a good time to get it done. - -- Micah J.
