A --config option would be great. I'm not sure what you contemplate for #inclusion, but if 1) --config allows multiple files to be specified, or 2) if a site-specific config file can incorporate/include another more generic default config, or 3) the --config file options override an environment specified .wgetrc, that would be nice. I'm already organizing my site specific wgetrc's in sections like this - one section for my generic defaults, and one for site specific options.

you can specify that Wget only accept things
that match FOO _and_ don't match BAR, but you can't specify things that
match FOO _or_ don't match BAR.
I always like more power like this (even at the expense of complexity), but I must say, I haven't needed it..
The easiest way to do query strings, for this point in time, might be a
flag to toggle inclusion of the query string in matches
That would be a very welcome addition (more valuable to me than the others), and it would meet all the needs I've encountered.
