WHAT YOU MAY NOT HAVE NOTICED
========================================================

Several weeks ago, many of our definitions started appearing on the
TechTarget site to which their subject matter is most closely
related. For example, "e-commerce" now appears on
searchEBusiness.com. Surprisingly, we've discovered that few users
of whatis.com even notice. There is an advantage, however, for those
who do notice - the user gets access to a site that has lots of news
and links to information related to the term they just looked up. We
think that once users understand the idea, they may start to explore
the context of the "sympathetic site" and find some valuable tips and
other information. Meanwhile, you now have the best of both worlds:
you can continue to search for whatis terms from where you are or
return to the whatis home page.

You can try it right from here if you click on "e-commerce" at the
following URL:

ON QUIZ #10, EIGHT OUT OF TEN ISN'T BAD
=========================================================

So far our readers and the other editors who have taken "Quiz #10:
TCP/IP" are averaging about eight out of ten answers right. This is
another of our match-up quizes, but apparently that doesn't make it
much easier. One of our editors (only 4 out of 10 right) told us
it's time we came up with a "creampuff" quiz. We're working on it.

Take Quiz #10 yourself at
