It's been a bad morning at the Help Desk where Ann and Frank are on duty. They've gotten several calls from irate users who can't access anything on the network. Ann got off a call and turned to Frank. "Looks like we have an unauthorized DHCP server on the wire," she said. "What makes you think that?" he asked. "This guy I just talked to said that his IP address is 169.254.122.3. We don't have any authorized DHCP pools with that IP address." QUESTION: What would you tell Ann if you were Frank?
