leading software organization is one of the largest in the industry, responsible for the Solaris Operating
Environment and the Java System.
David W. Yen

David Yen, brings over 24 years
of technology know-how, engineering vision and strong business management expertise to Sun Microsystems, Inc. As
Executive Vice President of the company's Scalable Systems Group, David Yen is responsible for driving Sun's
Throughput Computing and Throughput Networking initiatives. Under SSG, Yen has unified Sun's microprocessors,
enterprise systems and SPARC-based volume systems initiatives, and continues driving product development, strategy,
marketing and overall business management.
John Fowler

As Executive Vice President of
Sun's Network Systems group, John Fowler is focused on delivering industry standard network computing systems for
Solaris, Linux and Windows. The Network Systems product line will leverage industry economics, Sun's momentum in
